My name is Elizabeth Claverie and I teach seventh grade here at Our Lady of Loretto School (OLL).
It is my hope that all of my students become kind and thoughtful critical thinkers. One of my main academic goals is for my students to be able to write an organized and concise essay using Step Up to Writing (SUTW) strategies, good grammar, and precise vocabulary.
As a middle school educator I enjoy being a part of the process of shaping all of my students future college and career goals by valuing all questions and conversations. I strive to make every moment a ‘teachable’ moment.
As a community, OLL’s supportive and fun staff affirms students’ spiritual life and questions. We value our SLEs, our ‘fruits of the spirit’, and care deeply for each student.
My education background:
Jasper-Alamitos Union School (K-8) - Elementary
Calexico Union High School - High School
Dominican University - College
