Keane Care

Our Lady of Loretto School has a high-quality 'before & after-school child care program called Keane Care! It is located at 1819 Virginia Avenue, across from the main school building. Keane Care is named after Monsignor James Keane, who served as the pastor of Our Lady of Loretto for over 30 years. Before, the building served as the convent for the Ursuline Sisters and is now utilized for a convenient childcare solution program and other curricular activities. 

Keane Care has been open for over three decades, providing a safe, supportive, and fun environment for students after school. It is open from 7:00am - 7:45am and from dismissal until 6:00pm. We offer a healthy and balanced food option served right after the students are checked in, and a lighter snack at 5:00pm. We have one main room called the 'Big Room' where kids can color, do homework, and play board games. We have an outdoor patio with shaded picnic tables, play area with tanbark, and garden.

Whether you are working late, have a long commute from work or an appointment, desire a space for your kid(s) to complete homework before returning home, or simply want them to connect with their classmates more, Keane Care is a great program for your child!
