What are the school hours?
Regular School Hours:
Early Dismissal: Twice a month, there is a school-wide 12:00 Dismissal. This allows the Faculty and Staff to have Professional Development.
Is there Extended Care?
Yes, there is Extended Care; at Our Lady of Loretto we call it Keane Care. It is open each day school is in operation. Keane Care is offered in the morning from 7:00 am – 7:45 am and in the afternoon from 2:00 pm – 6:00 pm. Fees vary according to how a family uses the program. On minimum days Keane Care opens at dismissal.
How many students are in each class?
Classes average with 20 students – some are larger and some are smaller.
How old does a child need to be in order to be accepted into Kindergarten?
A child must be 5 years old by the first day of school.
How old does a child need to be in order to be accepted into Transitional Kindergarten?
A child must be 4 years old by the first day of school.
How much is tuition and how is it paid?
Tuition for the 2024-2025 school year is $14,396.00 for one child. We do have sibling discounts.
Families may choose from three different payment plans:
1. Single Payment
2. Two Payment Plan (payments are made in August and January)
3. Monthly Payment Plan – 12 months
All Families will need to register on Curacubby. Curacubby is our school payment system.
Is there financial aid available?
There is tuition assistance available through The Basic Fund and limited assistance from the Archdiocesan Tuition Assistance program through TADS. If there is a concern with the cost of tuition, please set up a meeting with the principal to discuss all options available.
What is the family service hour commitment?
Each family is obligated to complete 30 family service hours. If you do not fulfill your hours, you will be charged at the end of the year.

What curriculum standards do you follow?
Our Lady of Loretto School is a parochial school of the Archdiocese of San Francisco. We follow the standards set by the Archdiocese of San Francisco’s Department of Catholic Schools, which are based on the California State Standards. We are following the guidelines and standards of Common Core in math and English Language Arts (ELA). The Archdiocese of San Francisco’s Department of Catholic School also follows the Religion Standards set forth through the NCEA.
What non-curricular classes do you offer?
Our Lady of Loretto School offers Computers, Library, Music, PE, and Spanish as non-curricular classes. Specialist teachers teach these classes or teachers are contracted through outside companies.
Do you offer Afterschool Enrichment?
Yes, we have Afterschool Enrichment for both primary and middle school students. Our Afterschool Enrichment classes are contracted through outside companies and require an extra cost to our families. OLL’s PTG board runs the program. The classes change each year so the programs enrich the students learning.
Is there a Hot Lunch Program?
Yes, we have a Hot Lunch Program. We contract with ChoiceLunch and the program runs 5 days a week.
