Parent Teacher Guild

On behalf of the OLL Parent Teacher Guild, we welcome you! If you are a returning family, you already know what a special place Our Lady of Loretto is. If this is your first year at the school, you will learn how unique our school and community are.
 
PTG Overview
PTG stands for Parent Teacher Guild. The purpose of the PTG is to promote Catholic education while generating financial and volunteer support for the school.
 
PTG Membership
All OLL families and teachers are members of the PTG. Each family is required to pay an annual membership fee of $50.
 
PTG Fundraisers and Community Events
The PTG’s  four largest fundraisers are:

• Auction
• Golf Tournament (OLL Day on the Links)
• Christmas Luncheon
• Fun Run

The PTG also chairs:

• The Father-Daughter Dance
• The Mother-Son Event
• Community Dinner and Bingo Nights
• Movie Night
• Parent Coffee on the first day of school
• Mom’s Night Out
• Dad’s Night Out

The PTG uses fundraising efforts to give the school $60,000 (annually) to help keep tuition costs down. Last year, the PTG gave the school an additional $20,000 to help support the schools operating costs (totaling $80,000). In addition, the funds the PTG raises sponsor the following programs on an annual basis:

• Art program
• Assemblies
• Buses for field trips
• Classroom Enrichment
• Hospitality events
• 8th-grade breakfast
• Teacher luncheon
• SchoolSpeak – annual license fee
• Back to School BBQ
• Fund A Need – The PTG raises money for Fund A Need, and the school uses this money for chosen projects.

In the past, the PTG has used funds to purchase items needed for the school on an as-needed basis. These items have included a new series of math textbooks, a computer software program for the school's administration, computers, classroom blackout curtains, overhead projectors, desks, refurbishing the courtyard, and many other items needed to help support the spiritual and academic success of our children.
