Mr. Charles "Chuck" Johnson

Middle School On Grade Level Mathcjohnsonollnovato.orgMr. Johnson was born and raised in Santa Barbara, CA. After graduating from Santa Barbara High School, he received his BA in Liberal Studies and Education and a minor in Mathematics from Cal Poly Humboldt where he also played basketball and ran track. He pursued his teaching credential at UC Santa Barbara and received a Multiple Subject Credential and two Supplemental Credentials in Math and Science. Mr. Johnson has taught math and science at the middle and high school level for 32 years, 20 of those years in Napa CA. He also coached basketball at the high school and college level for 25 years. Mr. Johnson likes to spend time with his fiance listening to live music and going to restaurants around the SF Bay Area. Some of Mr. Johnson’s favorite pastimes include swimming at lakes, rivers, and beaches, walking his dog, and riding his mountain bike. He also is very fond of playing golf and showing off his culinary skills.
