Cat Peters, aka 'Miss P', has been a cantor and music director for the Archdiocese of San Francisco for 4 decades. Along the way, she spent twenty years as a Palliative Homecare Specialist before she became a Humanities teacher at age 39. Having taught in affluent Santa Rosa as well as Title One schools in the East Bay, Cat recently did a deep dive into neurodivergent thinking and learning at a specialist prep school here in Marin. After many years guest cantoring, Cat joined the music staff at OLL shortly before the Pandemic, but 2024 marks the first time Cat has combined her love of teaching with her music vocation. The result? Well, seeing the Aurora Borealis, standing in front of the Acropolis, walking the Camino Santiago, and singing mass in the Vatican are all on par with the joy of teaching according to Cat. Being at OLL is the gift that keeps on inspiring.
